
Dr. Beck earned her medical degree from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio and her undergraduate degree from The University of Cincinnati in psychology. Upon graduation, she earned the distinction of being an honors scholar.
Dr. Beck is committed to working together with families in order to ensure healthy and happy children. During her undergraduate days in Cincinnati, Dr. Beck worked as a crisis counselor and child advocate at the YWCA Battered Women’s Shelter. During residency at Robert Wood Johnson University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, she was awarded the Mercy Urgino MD Compassionate Doctoring and Caring Award.
Dr. Beck is a resident member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and edited and consulted on an Emmy Award winning film entitled “A Lion in the House,” which follows the stories of five exceptional children and their families as they battle pediatric cancer.
