Vaccine Management

With the advent of immunizations, the overall health of infants and children improved more than any single factor in the 20th century with the exception of clean water. Vaccines have been and continue to be safe and effective in preventing numerous childhood diseases. They are a vital part of keeping children healthy. We do our best to keep parents informed of recommended vaccines and provide important information regarding each vaccine administered. We are happy to discuss any concerns a caretaker may have in regards to immunizations. In addition, we have state-provided immunizations through the Vaccines for Children Program available for our Medicaid patients and those who do not have insurance.

Our practice follows the most up-to-date schedule of childhood immunizations set by the consensus of the American Academy of Pediatics (AAP), the Advisory Committee on the Immunization Practice (ACIP) of the CDC, and the American Academy of Family Physicans (AAFP).

Vaccine Express Appointments. This is not an office visit--just an express visit for administration of vaccines only, such as flu, H1N1, Gardasil, etc.
